This past month Island Water Sports teamrider, Fabiana Delfino headed to California to be part of the 6th Annual Exposure Skate Contest held at the Encinitas “Poods” skatepark. While in town, she was invited to skate the TWS park.
Fabiana at Exposure
Exposure Skate Contest was creates to provide opportunities for professional, amateur and beginning female skaters and to support at-risk communities by raising awareness, funding and resources for local non-profits.
Skaters from around the globe come to enter what is now the biggest all-female skate contest in the world!
Fabiana shared, “Exposure was so rad! The contest itself is a blast but what makes its so special is being able to reconnect and meet new homies from around the globe. There is nothing greater to me, than that. Every year I get inspired by everyone’s progression and stoke.”
A Visit to the TWS Park
Fabiana also had a chance to visit the TWS Park. Check out her edit recently posted by Transworld.
“Having the whole TWS park to myself was epic. The parks new layout is so fun, I would skate it everyday if I could!”, says Fabiana. “Big thank you to Jaime Owens and Transworld Mag for having me!”
