Road to Radness has become a October tradition as Island Water Sports prepares for our annual Daytime Radness event. Each year we host contests at local hot spots and this year, we stopped at Ramp 48 Skatepark. South Florida seems to be a mecca of talent lately, producing some of the top ams in the industry. This year’s contest was full of non-stop bangers.

A #dreamteam of local legends (Uli “Freakingnarly”, Jay “Ramps”, Blair Hess, and “Dirty” Dan) judged the contest with talent from locals like Roman Hager, Marcos Montoya, Pedro Delfina, Steven “Turtle” Herman, Kevin Timmons and many others.

Competing in Street and Bowl divisions, everyone from groms to sponsored skaters stepped up their game. It was a great event that brought everyone from the South Florida skate community together.

Check out the amazing photos and results below. Looking forward to future comps to come.
