Philip Pechonis – Friend, Husband, Father, Mentor

Phil was the General Manager of Island Water Sports from 1995 – 2000.  He is survived by his wife, Megan, and his children, Max – 18; Zach – 16, Katie – 11; and Alex – 10.  They moved to North Devon, England to start a church in Sept. 2000.  In 2002 he co-founded a Christian Music Festival, Creation Fest in Woolacombe, Devon which has gone from a one-day festival to a week-long festival in Wadebridge.  “Phil was an extraordinary minister of the gospel whose impact for the kingdom will prove to be greater than any of us realize now.  He was a man of faith, vision and action.  His ministry in the Southwest of England was truly apostolic and he leaves behind a legacy of souls saved, men and women discipled in the faith and churches planted.” – Brian Brodersen, Executive Director, Creation Fest.
